Miscellaneous Update

I had the next writing class today. It focused on plot. We had to bring in six cards detailing plot lines. I used several that I'd thought of. We then passed them around so that we had different plot lines that didn't belong to us. We then had to pick one and develop it.

It was fun. I know two people used my plot ideas, which was... strange. It made me feel awkward. I used a very generic plot idea which turned out to be from my neighbour and developed that into a story.

Today was not a good day. I had trouble relating to people and talking to them in a manner that didn't make me feel like I was studying some rare and interesting specimen and I was trying to find out how it worked by interacting with it.

The cats always seem to be moulting recently, but a few days ago dad finally got some spare combs and I used them to comb Pebbles. One huge handful of fur later, I realised that we were in serious moulting territory here. I think the summer moult has arrived with a vengeance, although I'm puzzled, because I'd have thought they'd have started to summer moult earlier. I did Sparky and he was equally fur-full. I gave up on both of them before the fur stopped coming, and I think Pebbles is getting to the end. It would be nice to stroke Pebbles without irritating my nose from all the hair that comes out, and she really likes walking back and forth in front of me on the desk, rubbing her spine under my nose.

course, cats, writing
