The "big" news of the week is that two days ago (Thurs.) I was helping David get the bin for Xmas decorations out of the attic slipped on the attic stairs and fell OUT of the attic (in a move that can only be described, in hindsight, as comical). Thank you everyone who gave suggestions about dealing with my "normal" lab results. On Monday I'm going to request to have a copy of the actual numbers faxed to me, go over them with Hilary and possibly her father (who is a Dr.) and go on from there. ...the phlebotomist looks at your lab work order and says, "Wow." Then she looks at your veins and says, "Hmm."

6 vials of blood and a pediatric needle later all is well, but man... I had a hardcore flashback to the day at Geisinger where they blew 3 veins and resorted to cutting down, just to get enough for a CBC and Tegretol level. *shudder*
