Dear PA State Unemployment People,
Thank you very much for your polite and helpful phone assistance this morning. No, I really mean it. The rep was very helpful, explained I was not eligible for a new claim but that I was in fact due the balance of my remaining claim, plus any extensions. He very kindly released the hold on the claim and the money (which won't be here until Monday but with state bureaucracy I really can't complain on that point).
HOWEVER, IN THE FUTURE... I would really appreciate NOTICE that my claim is ending, that you are going to hold the money, WHEN I might expect it to be released OR, BARRING THAT, THE FACT THAT I HAVE TO CALL SOMEONE TO GET THE BALL ROLLING.
They are your hoops, and since you are doling out the cash it is my responsibility to jump through them correctly. I don't mind -- really I don't. But when you don't TELL ME I need to jump, or prepare to jump, I get REALLY UPSET, cry, carry on, make emo LJ posts and FAIL TO SLEEP for entire nights. Please to be considering this for all future correspondence. You've been so good up until now, telling me what is happening at all times with my claim. Why drop the ball at such a crucial time? Srsly.
Still, thank you for being so helpful this morning and I hope we continue to have a long and fruitful relationship.
Ever your flaming hoop-jumper,
--Me
