So, last night I saw Star Trek with my wife, our friends Ed and Chrissy and a few newly met folks who are totally top-notch. Now, I should probably be writing up the new GeekDad Stack, but I really want to get my Trek Talk down before my head starts to get clouded by other things (like tacos and squirrels, for instance).

When I was younger, I was a jazz musician. My weapon of choice was a tenor saxophone, but I can play any woodwind-- including oboe. Bet you didn't know that. Penny Arcade Expo 2006 rawked and it rawked hard. It sure helped to have all those awesome people I know hanging about. You guys rule!
