New family pics
Hey, it's been a little while since I've updated. Busy, etc etc, and this last weekend my parents were in town. They leave tomorrow, so I don't have too much time to post. Yesterday we went to Butchart Gardens, which I've never been to before. Wow! Totally worth the price of admission. The staff was very helpful and nice, and they even provided a wheelchair for free. I got a good workout pushing my mom around, and Drake and Vance took turns riding Grandma.
Wait, that's not supposed to sound so bad. Hmm...
Anyway, here's a few pictures:
I'm not going to lie to you. I wasn't prepared to see my mother after she's lost so much weight so quickly. Luckily, there's always Drake and Vance around to cheer everyone up. I cite you this example...

We're getting year-long passes to Butchart, as my mom would like to go back a few more times while she has the time and capability. She must also feel like I need to get in better shape... Man, there's a lot of hills there. Oof!
A great time was had and we ended the day with some great fish and chips from Naughty Nellie's, which is one of the best F&C places in town. Tonight? Tacos. Yessss... tacos.
