Sometimes, oh sometimes, he really couldn't stand her. They got into fights all the time as if they were some old, bitter, married couple. She'd force him (somehow) into treating her to food (specifically something expensive, like steak). Not that she was using him, per say, but he hated being his fall back for things (if she didn't want to go alone somewhere, she'd call on him).
But she was a girl who could handle her own. Yosuke definitely respected that. She was fine the way she was. He wouldn't lie that the thought of her dressing up like a girl for once crossed his mind.
"Definitely better with longer hair."
"What?"
"Oh, it's nothing."
But despite all the 'faults' she seemed to have, he valued her friendship. She gave good advice, let him copy his notes when needed, and well, was there during the times when he thought no one would be.
"Say, Chie?"
"Hm? What's up?"
"Thanks."
