Done done done
The oral surgery went well and took no time at all. I was sitting there with the nose thing on and the IV in my hand, they all were doing things and talking, and then the doctor said "You ready? We'll start in a few minutes."
A few minutes later he came back around the chair and said "We're done."
Eh! When did they do it?!
It felt to me that fast. Really!
So far, there is no pain. I am not woozy or tired, I was just a little unsteady on my feet initially. I'm sure that all the bad stuff will kick in later, though. My father is waiting for my prescriptions to be prepared now. I plan to take the meds before the pain kicks in so as to nip it in the bud. I learned my lesson on that one many years ago when I had my wisdom teeth out. Don't wait, medicate!
Anyhoo. So far so good.
