I have arrived in Japan safely and pleasantly!

★ Greetings from Japan ★
I am currently sitting under a kotatsu (soooo warm) and have just attempted to read the past 2 weeks of my friends list, so if you've received a comment and wondered 'wtf is she stalking my old posts?' have no fear I don't stalk inanimate things... JOKING JOKING.

I wish I could tell you guys really exciting things, but I haven't really left the apartment except to buy essential items, which means I haven't been able to go Christmas card shopping yet... It's kind of difficult because I don't live near any good shopping malls. I have to wait for the weekend when my boyfriend can take me. But then, I promise I'll look for Hello Kitty and Sailor Moon items/cards ^.^

I do have, however, 2 things to share:
1) They have very complicated toilets. I was at the airport and it took me a minute to find the flush handle (it was behind the lid), because there were a bajillion buttons to pick from. I was wondering what they were for, but then I saw the instructions on the wall with a cartoon image of a person's ass and then I knew!!!
I didn't take a picture, but I figured I'd let you all know my butt was THIS close to being violatedcleaned.

2) I experienced my first Earthquake!! It happened in my province, with a magnitude of 4.6. It was exciting to the extent that I had never experienced one before and thought that someone was having a party upstairs of my own apartment without inviting me (the apartment is like a townhouse so you get two floors). I am completely safe, though!

P.S. I got dared by some friends to take a picture of my 'Amazed Tourist Look' pose: I stop, place my legs at shoulder width apart, lean back slightly and point with a full arm stretched out, and shout "Omg what's that?!"

LOL So yes, please look out for that. I need to do it at the opportune moment XD

For now, I leave you with a picture of me happy (and normal) under the kotatsu!
