Story Idea - only criminals will have guns
Because of all the gun back and forth on the radio - can't change the dial while I'm mopping the floor, it's wet over there.
Because I don't really like the idea of security guards in schools - they have as many prejudices as anyone else.
Because 'only criminals will have guns' assumes that solid citizens will never turn to crime.
Because my someone in my writing group wrote an April Fools story gone bad.
What if a solid citizen with a legal gun planned, not a prank but a prank-like setup? And someone's going to take the fall. And the government mandated school security guard is going to save the day for the wrong person.
