I'm telling you I still don't get it.
Like, I get hooking Hermione up with everyone from Luna to Harry to Snape. But Ron still remains a mystery. He is such a fucking asshole towards her--and no, Draco insulting her isn't the same, Ron is supposed to be her best friend.
Although my instant and constant dislike of Ron made a lot more sense when I realized he was the Xander Harris of the HP-verse.
