A challenge to myself.
Okay, so I have been told by many people that I am a pretty decent writer. Problem being that I don't usually enjoy writing. In an effort to overcome this, sort of get the feel for actually sitting down and writing something out, I want to give myself a bit of a push.
My request to you: give me a character to write about. I will try to write a brief tale for them and I will post it for comments. You don't need to give me a lot of detail, just a quick note about a person or persona (ie. a woman in a red dress, a traveling salesman). If you want to provide some sort of extra detail about the character or story you would like to see them in, that is fine, but don't feel like you need to provide an in depth character synopsis.
I think this will be a better challenge than the more ambitious NaNoWriMo. No time limits - I want to write something worth reading, and not feel pressured to slam out a piece of crap just to feel like I met some arbitrary goal.
