One thing I'm noticing about the expressions of  young people, and which reminds me of my ex:

Hyperbolic generalities, like "you're the best," or "this is the best meal, ever!" Don't bother saying anything if you aren't really saying anything, just do a dance, or something.

I will henceforth avoid boys who who like to use words like forever.

I may as well admit that I've got lots of reason to be conflicted. I don't even need to go into my personal history of being a refugee to talk about it either (that would be a novel). But I was thinking of my personal tendencies in terms of astrology and how it can describe so well why I trip over myself sometimes.
