I find it difficult to solve other people's problems.
By difficult, I mean, I'm personally uninterested in solving their issues.
Does that make me a selfish person or a lazy one?
Why should I take the responsibility to undo the mistakes another has created? Why should I be pressured to answer a question someone else already knows the answer to?
I come up with my own exercises and solutions, and I find those infinitely more enjoyable. Perhaps this is why I do not thoroughly enjoy puzzle games.
Perhaps I should be a philosopher or something. I'll probably become the something.
Based on interviews I've watched, most of the successful, self-made millionaires went out of their way to do something they believed in. Some of them were good at answering other people's questions, but all had their own drive to resolve their personal challenges.
What is it that this world lacks? What is new and exciting? What hasn't been done before?
It's a little sad that we only focus on a key number of animals. Can you name more than 100 unique animals off the top of your head? Ok, maybe that's not the fairest of questions, but the point is that we only remember the lions and dogs. Put up a picture of an animal you won't find in a zoo, and people will call it a freak of nature. I bet those people are the freaks.
Same goes for plants and other life forms. Though, let's not worry about fungus. That stuff is freaky.
"I catch him staring at me all the time! :)"
"Isn't that creepy?"
"It's not creepy if you think he's cute."
So... moral of the story: there's no way of telling.
"OMG, some creeper wouldn't stop looking at me today!"
"Uh?"
So... moral of the story: if you aren't good looking, you're not going to get screwed.
Last time I wondered how smart the average person is, what their level of intellect is like. Now, I'm wonder what the physical appearances of the average person is. For some reason, I have a sense that the average person is decent looking. That doesn't make any sense, because then they wouldn't be average. Keep in mind the average looks of a human does not apply to the average smartness of them. The two categories are separate.
It's a little ironic when someone tells you that someone else is missing out on you.
I'm not against other people's solutions to their own problems. I like looking at their answers and how they approached and completed each obstacle. It's the "follow my footsteps or die" part that bugs me.
So... I like learning, but I don't like homework or tests. Got it.
"You have to see it to believe it" is not the most convincing of arguments.
Tomorrow is election day. It's an important day for the United States. You have to see it to believe it.
Every day is a quest for food.
Situation:
Your living quarters is running low on food, and you are hungry.
Possible Outcomes:
1. Overcome your laziness and go out to buy food.
2. After pacing around the kitchen and living room, go back and open the fridge and pantry in hopes that something appetizing will magically appear; then, repeat the process.
3. Invoke a stroke a ingeniousness and invent a new dish out of unconventional ingredients.
