I love how Sylar was willing to go back in time for her, it shows that he really does love her. I actually think that's a good idea, if only so by the time that they do reach the master/slave thing their will be enough trust, love, and stuff between them that Claire won't become broken. Cause to be honest I can't see this contiuning nor being healthly in ten years, never mind 300 ( ... )

Thanks for leaving such an involved comment. I would've replied before now but I've been, well, medically detained for the last week unfortunately. All better (except for the IV bruises!) now, though ( ... )

Wow, I forgot how you can go for months without updating and then put two or three humungus chapters up in a couple of days! I'm not complaining, but it DOES make it difficult to digest them all at once and send you a meaningful reply. I've read the last two chapters twice and I still don't feel like I've got a decent handle on it all. You do NOT knock out short chapters with two dimensional characters! All I feel like I'm doing here is repeating myself these last months, but I can't get over the depth and detail you include in Claire and Sylar's discussions. I'm positive that no two characters in fanfiction have ever talked so extensively and in depth with one another about one particular area of their relationship as these two have. That the area in question is about the loss of free will and it's consequences makes it even more unique. You have examined these characters and their points of view from so many different angles now that they feel fully mapped out and three dimensional to me. Claire's character must be the harder to ( ... )

All children are psychopaths. Most children grow out of it as they're taught manners, social norms, and the concept of 'guilt' but all children are psychopaths. Sylar really is a spoiled three year old. An incredibly intelligent, incredibly powerful three year old with all the mood swings and responses to not getting his way that implies. I write him as all over the place because, for me, he hasn't really pinned himself down yet. He doesn't know who he is so he's going with whatever he feels like at that moment with no concern as to whether it's consistent or hypocritical unless it blows up in his face. Sylar really is a bastard, in the slang sense, because he's all about instant gratification and his wants. Even when he's trying to do things for Claire it's all within the frame of mind of doing something for her = her liking him better = her behaving better = him happier. It's not a conscious thing, necessarily, but it's very much there.

Re: ickiness. Don't worry. This was the last of the scat or piss play. I meant to write in ( ... )

As usual a great read. I have loved this story all along, but Claire being so broken is something I can't seem to get my head around. Should she be? Of course, and I couldn't expect any other outcome. I just find it is so sad that I can't enjoy your bingo kinks like I usually do. I know I'm being totally selfish but I just had to put that out there. Oh and if I'm your "missing beta", I'm not really, I was just waiting for your email. :)

I, uh, lost your email, so I left you a comment but you never replied and... *laughs* If you could PM me with your email again that'd be awesome.

Sad, though, that you're not enjoying the story like you used to. :(
