Went to a charity event tonight. $40 for entry to a club, dinner, and a drink. Couldn't convince any friends to come, so I went by myself seeking adventure. Been thinking a lot lately about what happiness means to me. I'm nervous about the move to California coming in just two weeks. I started my apartment hunting yesterday. Headed to Seattle this coming weekend. A bit nervous about the trip but, in any case, I already have work here. Not sure how long I'll be in AZ, kind of an exciting feeling but at the same time it would be nice to have some more certainty about my future. Having a down Sunday in the time between distractions. Not all distractions though, had some fun with Vicky and Manami even though it was shopping at girly stores in the mall. Old thoughts on my mind, but regardless of how I got here it doesn't affect anything. Because I'm here now and I'm going to make the most of it.

I'm trying to figure out what type of work, within the realm of computer science, I should find a job in and where I should work. Empty. What to fill this vessel up with now... been sleeping better these days. The metamorphosis of nightmare to reality left a vacancy for dreams to fill. Feel awake for the first time in a while, can't recall anything significant from my time spent in graduate school. Everything has been monumental since.
