Reference: delicious foods
So in Last Remnant, occasionally when you defeat monsters you capture them whole. You then have the choice to take the captured monster home and sell it for cash and the opportunity at trade goods, or split it for parts (which are used to make/upgrade equipment). The best part about this is the item description on the captured monsters, which reads:
A captured [monster]. It can be sold at a high price and is best used for [food].
Some of the choices are really, um, unique.
This isn't a complete list by a long shot, since I only started compiling it on our second playthrough and I'm not even halfway through, but I'll update it as we go along.
