I got invited to an elite pillage on Puzzle Pirates this afternoon and completely forgot that The Prisoner was on BBC America at 4pm. It was an episode which is on disc 6 of my collection (the only one which doesn't work, natch) and I was going to tape it so I could have those episodes. After Writers' Club tonight I got to talk to one of the coordinators for the Conference, which is next Saturday. I did my 12 hours of volunteer work, so I'm eligible to attend the conf for free. I've done what I can do re: the medical insurance situation. I'm not happy about what's going on, but I'm tackling what I have within reach and I'm content with it. I was a little ulcery this morning, but I had lunch normally (without meds) and was fine. Tonight's the start of the qep'a'. David will be arriving around 3:00, and we'll probably be out of here by five or so. This year will mark the smallest (by my reckoning) attendance of the qep since qep'a' cha'DIch back in 1995: we'll have only a dozen people at the conference. It'll be cozy. Work was good this weekend, except for the part after I left this afternoon and low blood sugar, combined with tiredness, a stressy ride home (all five minutes of it!), and an unfortunate personnel occurrance at work combined to leave me very escapy.
