Hooray! A shiny, new range!

There is something about new kitchen stuff that makes me happier then christmas does. I recently was gifted with a new set of J.A. Henckels knives and I serious teared up.

Congrats on your new gear :)

WooHoo! Congrats on the new range. I'd gave 500 lbs. if I ate everything Paula Dean cooked. It's all wonderfully and sinfully rich! :D

I could not be happier for you, unless, of course, you are able to make good on your Paula Deen scheme. I actually once asked for and got a stove for Christmas so, I understand your glee.

I actually asked for the dish washer we have for my birthday (we didn't have one at all) so I hear you about asking for practical gifts!

I plan on making good use out of this new range! :D

I bought a new stove a while back as the oven kept going out in my old one so I know how fabulous is it to get a brand new one. Congrats on the stars aligning.

I take it Paula Deen is a chef?

Thank you! :D

And I can't believe you haven't heard of Paula Deen! The woman's branded herself to the hilt! She's a chef on the Food Network. Her page is up here.

She's actually a Southern style cook so she makes things like fried chicken and mashed potatoes, pulled pork sandwiches, country fried beef steak, baking powder biscuits, roasted turkey with all the trimmings, etc.

Essentially, if it's one of those sinful foods that make you drool thinking about it, it's something she cooks.

She's also got a really great sense of humor and is very personable.

I'm an Aussie, so that's probably why. LOL!

Will check out her page, I like all those sinful foods now and then. :)
