Only 3 wks. til SPRING BREAK!!
So the good news is that my classes are going well. However, I went to a meeting last night and they told all of the Early Childhood Leadership people that they were getting rid of our major. What a crock of shit! So the ECL classes are being phased out which really sucks for me cause I just transferred there. What the hell? So I meet with the ECL program coordinator on March 8th so I can re-adjust my schedule. I was talking to her last night for a lil while and she said I may have to take 6 classes and an internship the next couple of semesters so I can finish by the time they get rid of it. Blah!
In other news Mike broke his hand this past saturday. So yesterday I went with him to the doctors and they took the cast off and put a splint on it. Did u know that they customize splints? I didn't know this but yea they do. So the doctor said the bone placement is ok but if it moves at all he's gonna have to get surgery done to put the bone back in place. Yikes! So know he has to wear this splint all the time and he goes back this wednesday for another x-ray to make sure the bones havent moved. Damn Boys!
Oh...and I might have a different job. I went this past monday for an interview to be a nanny for a work at home mom with a 2 1/2 year old girl and another baby on the way. I think the interview went well but she said that she had another person to interview. So she called me yesterday and said that she was going to try to call my references today and then try to get back to me on friday or at the most sometime early next week. They would pay me $10/hr under the table and I would work 20hrs a week and they would work around my school schedule. Not bad. Hopefully I will get a call back from them. Please pray I get this job.
