New stuff

So last week, I got super sick again, and missed almost 2 days of work. I'm still not feeling great. Really tired all the time, congested and all that great stuff.

I'm still dealing with my digestion issues. Saturday night, I thought I was going to die with the pains in my belly. I hardly consumed ANY dairy, and I was just dying, so I'm thinking I may be allergic to wheat. Yippie. So as of yesterday, I started my lactose and wheat free diet. And let me tell you how effing boring it is! So we'll see how it goes. I'm trying to find a new digestion system on the black market. I'm seriously at my wits end. But at least after this experiment fails, I can go back to the docs and tell them, Look I tried the dairy free diet, I tried the wheat free diet, what gives. So we'll see.

I went back to the gym yesterday. It was sort of hard. I couldn't get into it, but I stuck it out. I lost almost 6 pounds somehow. I'm calling it the flu diet. And I'm alright with that. I was super shocked, but that just makes my goal that much easier, another 20 more to go. I have quite a few things I need to be slimmer for. One is Natalie's wedding, second is....

I think I'm going to Italy this summer. I'm excited and confused at the same time. It's going to make a HUGE dent in my wallet. The airline ticket alone is btwn 1500 and 1700. OUCH! Our dollar versus the Euro is not good. It's 1.50 per 1.00 Euro, so it's an automatic loss. But it'd be nice to visit. I haven't seen most of those people in 10 years. My dad and mom are going, my dad hasn't gone back in almost 25 years, aaannnnd my brother is going too, and he hasn't been back in almost 25 years either. So my parents will go ahead, since they'll be there for about 2 months, and then my brother and I will go in mid/end August. I'm hoping Danny comes with us. That would make everything that much better.
