(no subject)
TGIF.
I have been working so fucking much lately. I am now off for FOUR DAYS!! Finally time for some needed and deserved R&R. My husband is out of town until Sunday=( but it will be nice to have some alone time I guess. Just me and the puppy dog at home now=)
On the up side...I've been bitching a lot about my job lately...been kinda down about it. Well I had a GREAT night at work the other night. I had a patient that was SO sick. I haven't seen someone that sick in a looong time. I took great care of him and helped relieve some of his hurt. It's nice to take care of someone that really needs you and that appreciates everything you do for them. I'm not usually the type to need to be coddled or verbally appreciated, but it is nice sometimes to be told you are doing a good job. I got an amazing compliment from a physician. I felt like a good nurse=) It reminded me why I do what I do.
I am not moving from my sofa today. My DVR is packed full of stuff I have to catch up on=) Yesssss sir.
