(no subject)
it's been way too long since i've gone shopping. So, for this 3 day weekend, I decided to spend one whole day for shopping. it turned into two. i'm still working on my master's. it was due.. last week. i am late.. again. it seems to be going really fast: i've just turned in my title page for approval, then i've got to turn in my abstract on tuesday, and then my symposium presentation at the end of the month, and then it's over!! technically. i'm not done, i've asked for an extension. The end of the month will be hectic. I am being observed for my stull eval and for BTSA. I have my standard 18 due of the BTSA program, then up to davis for my presentation. It'll be difficult. I might take some sick days. =D
I went shopping on the promenade today (still here actually) and i saw David Haselhoff!! He was up on the second floor of the adidas shop on their balcony talking to some lady who was chilling there with him people watching. He is so.. .. old. KNIGHTRIDER!!!!! it was exciting. I wanted to take a picture, but everybody else was walking around as if they don't notice and i figured it'd be really awkward if i took out my camera and aimed it at the second floor at him while he was obviously taking a break from working out. poopers.
We spent way too much money shopping these 2 days. I spent 2/3rds of my paycheck. in two days. *_* it's a good thing i'm way too busy to go shopping now. otherwise, I still won't be able to save.
I went on my first field trip on Friday. It was so nice. these kids were good. they didn't wander off and get in trouble. They were surprisingly quiet on the bus and at the LACMA. the kids didn't like the LACMA tour as much as they enjoyed rolling down the steep hill at the La Brea Tarpits park, but the day was enjoyable. more enjoyable than sitting in a classroom all day. I was happy. When I came back, several of the students from the class I left behind came and told me they had a bad day and had 5 different subs. Turned out, we didn't have a sub for our class. -_- They were made to write 200 standards. behehe.
The restaurant i'm stealing internet from is making us disconnect. ... so... bye.
