Sunshine and Heroes Equals Happiness

Mar 06, 2007 21:55

Today was BEAUTIFUL!!! I mean breathtakingly, spring-is-here BEAUTIFUL! I'm not quite sure how high the temperature got today, but it's 57 degrees Fahrenheit right now, and it's 9:20pm. It must have been in the lower- to mid-60s this afternoon. That's when I took a jog downtown! And I'm not the running type. I find it quite boring. But the sky was so blue (well, there were clouds here and there), and the sun was shining. I had to take advantage of it. Besides, rain is in the forecast. Back to the story though, I jogged to the Space Needle and out by the pier. The view of the Puget Sound was fantastic! I REALLY want summer now. And I mean, now! Who really needs spring, right? Tennis, biking, hiking... That's the life I want to live! Well, besides traveling, but that takes a wee bit more time and money. Neither of which I have in large quantities. All in all though, this day turned out well. All because Mr. Sun decided to shine down on me.

(And I'm probably the only one who understood the reference to the Mr. Sun song I sang in kindergarten. Hmm. Oh well.)

Heroes ("Parasite"): My number one favorite new show of the year won't be back till the end of April! Waaaaaah! That's not fair. Life's not fair. How will I survive??? *attempts to rip hair out*

Guess I'll get straight to the important stuff. What's that, you ask? Peter, of course. I was told that I probably wouldn't like the end of the episode. Hmm, I guess it doesn't get me down too much. Peter's still alive; that's one thing. And he'll at least be alive to blow up New York City. That's a positive... Sort of. Oh, and need I remind a certain someone, who knows who they are, that it's all about the Peter/Camden. That is my OTP. :D

Mohinder caught on to Sylar. Kudos to him. Of course, I think his kudos has been reneged since Sylar got the upperhand on him. Poor Mohinder. He's just trying to do good by our heroes.

The mother Petrelli has been working with the Haitian!? Whoasas! That's awesome! I love connections like this. So sweet that she's protecting Claire like that. And wasn't she the one who told Nathan that he was basically just the sperm donor? Interesting, very interesting indeed.

Mr. Bennet obviously needed to be a little more stealthy, eh? I was suspicious that something might happen because his wife's memory actually hadn't been erased. It's not that I don't trust her; it's just that with Matt around, he would easily be able to hear her thoughts.

Linderman was quite different than I expected. He was cheerier and friendlier than I predicted. Interesting that he knows so much about our heroes. Does he have anything to do with Mr. Bennet's company?

Lastly, Isaac's new painting... The question is... Who's in the painting?

Guess there's only one more thing. This is borrowed from allie_ish_kooky. :D

The Everything Test
There are many different types of tests on the internet today. Personality tests, purity tests, stereotype tests, political tests. But now, there is one test to rule them all.

Traditionally, online tests would ask certain questions about your musical tastes or clothing for a stereotype, your experiences for a purity test, or deep questions for a personality test. We're turning that upside down - all the questions affect all the results, and we've got some innovative results too! Enjoy :-)

Personality You are more logical than emotional, more concerned about self than concerned about others, more religious than atheist, more loner than dependent, more workaholic than lazy, more rebel than traditional, more engineering mind than artistic mind, more cynical than idealist, more follower than leader, and more introverted than extroverted.

As for specific personality traits, you are adventurious (100%).

I must say I do take offense to a few things...

For one, I don't feel as if I'm more concerned about myself than others. I hope not at least. Of course, it has been said that I love tv more than others though. ;)

I'm cynical? *cries*

I associate with the upper class. Mwahahaha. I'm more of a middle class girl, actually.

Geek. *giggles* I prefer nerd, thank you very much.

And I'm spent. Good night. Good sleeping. And good dreaming.

EDIT 10:07pm: Just found out. We had record-breaking temperatures today. It got up to 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the city. I lurved it. Now I should really get some sleep. *waves*
