I forgot to mention....
I hit a deer!
On the way home from dropping Josie off last Sunday I saw a huge pool of blood on the highway. Being 1:30 in the morning didnt help the fact that my reflexes were on shut down. You would think seeing that pool of blood and the lot of bloody entrails surrounding it, I would have had the sense to move over a few lanes to avoid whatever was coming.... no!
So I tried to manuever my crv so that the upper have of the deer would gently slide in between my tires beneath my car. Unfortunatly the deer was still to big to fit all the way beneath the car. Nothing bad happened to us... we were very much okay after I hit it, but I saw that there is a nice schmeer of blood and guts underneath my car... YUCK!
Now here is my question... since I was on highway 580 just passed livermore, way before the altamont...
Why in the hell was there a deer in the middle of that freeway??? There is absolutley no grassland around in the area!!
