Timeline
Day 45
Mello woke up in a place he wasn't supposed to be, met someone who claimed to know him, and someone who should have, but didn't. Then he found he was saddled with a roommate who seemed to him like a stereotypical frat boy, except that he was surprisingly handy in a fight.
Day 46
On his second day, Mello made nice, in his fashion, with Sai; then met someone who knew a lot of people from his world, some of whom Mello hadn't heard of yet. At lunch, he discovered L was L again, which turned out to be less awesome than he might've hoped. Then he ran into someone who was suspiciously happy to see him. At dinner, he ate his roomie's chocolate cake, then headed out to try to find his gun, but got sidetracked by History Club folks.
