Welp. I think I made this a little too long.
- Takin' on Skyla's gym. WHEEE CANNONS. POSSIBLY TO THE TUNE OF PACHEBEL'S CANON.
- oh i'm sorry, I didn't know this was the DETECT GYM. >:I
- flinch detect detect roost flinch detect roost ARHGHGHDVUHSEDWIUSHGUIRHVFD DIE ALREADY.
- Unfezants are surprisingly beefy. Tank isn't doing too much to them even with Smack Down.
- Ethers and Elixirs are soda. They give you PP.
- Speaking of PP. I have more MooMoo Milks than you have uses of BubbleBeam, Swanna. WHEN YOU DECIDE TO DO SOMETHING ELSE, I'LL BE THERE.
- And that's how Tank singlehandedly beat ALL THE FLYING TYPES. trololol.
- Tank evolved into Carracosta!
- ...Huh. Didn't know tall grass could shake. Audinos, at least, have stopped being a threat to all but the squishiest of mons.
- GODDAMN IT CHEREN WHEN I TALKED ABOUT YOU CHALLENGING ME AFTER EVERY GYM I WAS NOT SERIOUS. DO YOU HEAR ME.
- At least Cheren's Liepard is predictable. ALWAYS FAKE OUT.
- oh, sup alder. SHUT UP, CHEREN. "weak weak weak suck fail" YES, NOW GO AWAY FOREVER.
- surrrrrrf. It's not that great on Tank... but it allows me to get Waterfall, which IS great on Tank. Flyin' back to startin' towns oh yeeeeah~
- But first... BACK TO DRIFTVEIL TO BUY ALL THE MOOMOO MILKS. A THIRD TIME.
- And now SURF TRIP FOR TREEEEASURE
- AND THERE ARE STILL FLASH-NECESSARY AREAS IN UNOVA. ...at least Flash is a TM and not a HM any more.
- Aw, what the hell. *shoves Hermit and Bio-Haz into Day Care... JUST IN CASE.*
- Captured L11 Basculin in Striaton Town. Nicknamed "Bascln.EXE"
- Back home~ After a stop by Juniper's for GOODIES.
- Water routes: The best way to powerlevel your Grass and/or Electric-type 'mon!
- Caught L8 Frillish at Route 17. Nicknamed "Yurei"
- Waterfall HM -GET-.
- I'm not even surprised any more, Cheren. You WAIT for me to show up. Then again, I just derailed the plot as soon as I got Surf. Who wouldn't?
- Caught L28 Woobat at Twist Mtn. Nicknamed "Red"
- Ahahaha oh my god, Twist Mountain in Winter has totally become EASY MODE.
- Choosing to replace Wake-Up Slap with DynamicPunch is probably the biggest mistake I have made so far in this run. Now I have no STAB moves except one that NEVER HITS.
- Oh look. Cheren and Team Plasma, my two least-favorite retards.
- Good. STAY HERE. OUT OF MY LIFE. I get enough interruptions without you challenging me to a D-D-D-D-D-D-D-DUEL every gym.
- Man, Winter really messes up this area of the game. SNOW EVERYWERE and also i can't catch any stunfisk :C
- Caught L37 Beartic outside Dragonspiral Tower, Nicknamed "Coca-Cola"
- Seeing the issue here already, seperating outside and inside as two seperate areas since the tower is obviously seperate from the patches of grass right outside. In order to preserve fairness, I'll count the 'outside' area as Icirrus Town, meaning I will be forever without Stunfisk. Ah well.
Hm. To take on the Ice Gym, or to grind some levels... grinding here in Winter does not seem very possible, but...
- hahahaha man, cryogonal looks so derpysad.
- OH YEAH PUNCHIN' ALL THE ICE CREAM AND TEDDYBEARS. FIGHTING TYPES IN UNOVA ARE SO MANLY.
- This is either going to go great or end horribly. DUEL 1, HEAVEN OR HELL, LET'S ROCK.
- Go ahead, use all your hyperpotions on your first mon. I DO NOT MIND THIS.
- *does the same and drenches RM Steel in MooMoo Milk once Beartic starts bustin' out the Brine*
- ...And now Beartic has added three Swaggers onto RM Steel. Sure, she smacks herself for half her max HP if she's confused, but... *STEAMROLLERS GYM LEADER*
- GODDAMN IT BIANCA, CHEREN. JUST LET ME FINISH A GYM IN PEEEEEEEEEEEACE
- And upon beating the gym leader, he helps us out by SEEING MOLESTNINJAS.
- PARTY AT MAGICAL DEATHDRAGON TOWER WOO. :I
- Captured L31 Golett inside Dragonspiral Tower, Nicknamed "Megadeus"
- SO I JUST LEARNED THAT GOLETTS CAN LEARN FLY SO THEY ARE FLYING GIANT ROBOTS THAT IS EPIC.
- "Burn, baby, burn"? I SOMEHOW DOUBT RESHIRAM SAID THAT, AND THAT IS TOTALLY OUT OF CHARACTER FOR N. WTF.
- RWGFUSIHIU OH GOD BADTOUCH TEAM PLASMA.
- You know, between you guys, you might actually have a FULL POKEMON TEAM. Consisting mostly of Krokoroks and Watchogs.
- Sup, Reshiram. Wow, no wonder you're usually the female in furry art; from this angle you have long, flowing locks.
- Damn it, N. People who use legendaries to clear the E4 are the scrubbiest scrubs.
- ...Sup, Alder. Shut up, Cheren.
- "HEY YOU SHOULD GO TO THE RELIC CASTLE RELIC RELIC CASTLE OF RELICS." Fuck you all. I'mma go the other way to see how far it is before the next roadblock. ...later.
Saved at Icirrus Pokemon Center, 22:39. 0 Pokemon Lost. (WOO.)
Current team:
Rerun, L38 Stoutland (F), Sand Rush
Held Item: Scope Lens
Return/Thunder Fang/Ice Fang/Take Down
Rerun is at a point of both growth and stagnation. He's slowly losing his ground as team damage sponge to Tank, but he has fewer weaknesses and also a fair bit of versatility with the tutored Elemental Fangs. If I shelve him, it's probably gonna be for Coca-Cola, who can do the "kill dragons" thing but better.
Parrrsnips, L42 Simisage (M), Gluttony
No Held Item
Seed Bomb/Leech Seed/Acrobatics/Grass Knot
Parrrsnips is static. On the other hand, "clearing out obnoxious Water, Ground, and Rock types" is a niche that will ALWAYS need to be filled, and with Acrobatics, he's still my best means of getting rid of many a Fighting Type. I'm a bit skeptical about his chances when things like Mienshao and Conkledurrs show up in enemy hands, though.
Tetsuo, L42 Conkeldurr (M), Guts
No Held Item
Brick Break/Rock Slide/DynamicPunch/Payback
Tetsuo really surprised me with how efficient he was at punching face. Much like RM Steel before him, the trade evolution probably helped him more than I'd want to admit. I was almost a total retard and left him with just DynamicPunch, Rock Slide, and Strength as his offensive moves, but thankfully I remembered that I had a Brick Break TM. His niche, now that the Ice Gym is done, is pretty much over, but there may be use for him yet. We'll see.
Wriggle, L37 Scoliopede (M), Poison Point
Held Item: Expert Belt
Bulldoze/X-Scissor/Bug Bite/Poison Jab
Wriggle didn't see any action at all recently, what with the Flying Gym being openly detrimental to his health and the Ice Gym being much better handled by the Rocks and Fighters. He's still chewing on any Psychic and Dark-type heads, so Team Plasma is keeping him.. somewhat current, at least, with a glut of Liepards and Krokoroks.
Tank, L41 Carracosta (M)
No Held Item
Aqua Jet/Surf/Waterfall/Smack Down
He's not as strong as RM Steel, but that dual typing is working more in his favor than I expected. He's not the best Water-type, he's not the best rock-type, but the ability to be both at once is making things rather handy. I just wish Surf wasn't so essential; he's basically wasting a slot on it.
RM Steel, L38 Gigalith
Held Item: Quick Claw
Rock Slide/Iron Defense/Stealth Rock/Bulldoze
RM Steel still has a unique niche - Stealth Rock is still fucking broken. Past that, she's basically just smacking flyers and bugs and the occasional ice cube. I hate to admit it, but I'm probably gonna have to choose between her and Tank for a while soon, just to get some variety in my team.
