Abilities.

Resurrect: - The one ability he keeps to himself above all others. As he shares several of the same properties as a Lich; Enno is essentially unkillable, only stoppable for varying periods of time. The only way to truly destroy his is the destruction of the vessel of his soul, a small quartz crystal. With the sarcophagus granted as part of the pact; Enno can regenerate even from nothing, but resting in it regularly is required or his healing abilities is heavily reduced and has adverse side-effects. Enno's Regeneration is also limited, as while he can instantly recover from wounds, but after fighting he must rest in the sarcophagus to recover the power. Otherwise if he is fighting for prolonged periods of time, he will suddenly stop being able to regenerate, and have to suffer while he slowly heals until the power recovers enough for him to make it back to his sarcophagus.

Might: - The limit of his strength is unknown, and may not ever be as it appears to increase when he needs it most. He must be extremely careful in daily life as when he was a child he could destroy anything around him with a single touch, and he was absolutely forbidden from touching others. As a result, he tries to avoid touching whenever possible as he fears his strength going out of control.

Draw Out: - The ability the Diederich clan stole many generations ago from the Far East. Focusing, one can draw out the latent abilities and powers from a weapon. Only weapons that have been "truly named" are applicable for this process. Once the name and command are known, all that know this ability can use the weapon. However as everyone uses a weapon differently; the form and power will be different. Further more, the less skilled the user is with the weapon in question, the weaker and more useless the resulting form will be. The origin and power of this ability lies in the Far Eastern spirits, Tsukumogami. In addition to objects that have existed for 100 years; objects that are thought to be held in high emotion attachment or invoke the strongest of feelings relating personally to the owner also develop it's own "Artifact Spirit". Such objects are really the only ones that obtain a "True Name" after all.

Seele Schneider: - Lit. "Soul Cutter(as would a tailor)". A sword passed down by several men of Enno's family, and now currently his, and his alone. As the Diederich Family are little more than mercenaries in the eyes of some; it is predictable the blade has tasted the blood of many humans and non-humans alike, giving the sword a solemn aura, quite matching with it's wielder. The name comes from the rumor it is supposedly so sharp it can even cut a soul in two cleanly. The command for the sword is, "Rise". Known powers include a 'soul blade', that can cut despite the physical blade being blocked by an attack, and 'soul extend' a wave of energy thrown by the sword to hit distant enemies. The sword-type is a Zweihänder ; a German anti-Pike/Polearm blade.

Mitleiden: - Lit. "To sympathize With.(A.K.A.; A bleeding heart)". This is Enno's sword he forged himself. He never uses it's power, as it's suspected he can't as he lacks something he feels necessary to do so. Regardless, he named it himself, the command is "Vanquish". Taken with the name, it could be he's trying to eliminate his feelings he has with his foes. Until he does use it in it's Drawn Out state; one can only make guesses. He is more likely to use this in a regular fight than his Seele Schneider. The sword-type is a Katzbalger; a German arming-sword.

Strike vs. Technical: - Enno is not a very technical fighter; most of his Artes and attacks are not designed to strike an enemy quickly, and the ones that do have multiple strikes are often to blow the enemy away from him or knock them off their feet. He's also not a comboist, either. The basic formula is up to 4 hits + an Arte.

Enno's Combo Scheme follows this basic route in order of least to most complicated.

1+2+3+4+Base Arte
1+2+3+4+Master Arte
1+2+3+4+Arcane Arte
1+2+3+4+Base Arte+Master Arte
1+2+3+4+Base Arte+Arcane Arte
1+2+3+4+Master Arte+Arcane Arte
1+2+3+4+Base Arte+Master Arte+Arcane Arte

He can't extend his combo for more hits, he can't link Artes back and forth, etc.

While it's unfair to say Enno is inexperienced as he has mastered a number of Artes; it's not his own style. It's the family's basic style, and is something he can't acknowledge as his own, and he's just not agile enough to learn the advanced styles. Plus it's his philosophy; when he draws his sword, one hit is all that's required. He's still finding his was as a swordsman and hasn't even put his own spin on the family Artes. As he grows and learns from himself and other people, his style is subject to change; he'll adapt Artes to suit him better, learn new ones, and leave old ones by the wayside until he has his own Artes and style that he feels comfortable enough with to call his own.
