It's been a while...

Quick update... 20 minutes until dinner time haha- true fat kid.
Exams- Studying with Ying was half productive, yet more fun. We definitely bonded a lot more. She's really cool and I hope we become better friends next year. My exam grades turned out to be A LOT better than expected... it was crazy! I slacked off hardcore this quarter, and my grades are actually pretty good.
Prom- It's always fun getting dressed up, especially with Nat. We pregamed on champagne and tsingtao before prom to give a little edge on the night. Everything with Greg was cool, no awarkwardness or anything. Almost like we were together... weird I know. The actual prom itself wasn't that thrilling, but partying after was. We came back to my house, and my mom bought us (me, Nat, Greg, Johai, and Dave) an expensive bottle of champagne. Haha I think she was a little toasted herself. Then we went to Johai's and they got changed... and then out to Phil's. The night was fun... Greg and I hooked up again, though I first told myself I wouldn't let myself do it. I am so weak- it's pitiful. Well anyways, around 3:30 Nat left to go home, so I stayed with Johai and then we (Johai, me, Kat, Michelle, Greg, and Charlie) all went to Tiannamen square to do the senior tradition (haha I'm such a follower) of watching the sunrise. It was definitely overrated, but I had fun and plus it was a good experience. Johai definitely made the night from about 1 to 6 in the morning a lot more fun. We bonded. Then after Tiannamen I was going to taxi home by myself, but Greg decided that he'd ride with me. So we ended up in the teen zone... sleeping/hooking up (innocently). I think I was trying to hold on to something that's no longer there. Overall, prom was a great night and I have some really great memories to hold on to.
China studies- 3 hours of sleep after prom (7:30am-10:30), a quick shower, and packing provided for a tiring first day. Nat and my Korean filled group wasn't that great, and Xi'an wasn't that great either... but we made the best of it. It was fun following Katherine, Veronica, Tabea, Desi, Tom, Kurt, and Martin's group around all the time. The orphanage was the best experience overall, but Nat and I were really happy to be home.
This past week- Graduation was Saturday night, so me, Nat, and Mere decided to go and pay tribute to the departing seniors, as well as get some food haha. The ceremony was REALLY nice, it almost made me cry. Haha I get so teary at those things. Then after graduation we decided to go out an party. It was great hanging out with everyone for one last time. I really am going to miss Kat and Michelle, even though I just recently met Michelle. We came home kinda early- 1 because everyone had to leave Phil's bar and we didn't want to go on to the nasty Yun Meng club. Well anyways, Mere and I didn't start buzzing until we got home haha- go figure. So anyways, in a lack of thibking moment, I texted Greg and told him to come over. Well an hour later, as I am sleeping, he calls back and says he is at Embassy House (my home). Haha I was like shit I am sleeping, but oh well. So anyways, I met him down in the lobby with Greta, her ex, and her friend Karen, and so Greg and I went to the teen zone. We hooked up, but it was a little weird. I remember him saying something like 'you can't have the physical without the emotional and vice versa'... and I was like yea well I guess that's a problem. We kissed goodbye and made plans to go to dinner sometime this week, but then never really talked. I saw him at the sports banquet, and today when me, Nat, and Bree went to his house. It was odd, but not too uncomfortable. Supposedly we are going to dinner next week (highly doubtful). I am not going to let myself be the easy hookup anymore cause that's not how I want to see myself. I hope to conclude as respected friends. Anyways, school has been a HARDCORE waste of time, besides taking over the senior lounge and getting yearbooks. Melissa is leaving for boarding school next year, or so we think. Things have changed SOOO much since the beginning of the year. I think I have really changed a lot too- which is probably a good thing.

I must go leave for the airport- the Alvarado's are coming. I am quite excited, this shall be fun... I hope.
