Wow. That is rather sickening that people would disregard the feelings of the actual people behind the development of the games and just lash out. It's one thing to be pissed around your friends for whatever reason. It's another thing to find the person who works hard and then say that they should kill themselves.

The attacks against Jennifer Hepler have always made me sad, especially since they often do seem fairly sexist. Disagree with her story choices, fine, but why must people make fun of her weight/appearance/gender, when this never comes up for the other writers? I've seen her called names I do not want to repeat, and they have nothing to do with her writing.

That is absolutely appalling. I'm at a total loss for words over the thought of how cruel people can be and how quickly they disregarded the feelings of this woman in favor of their video gaming experience. Absolutely disgusting. I'm glad that the members of this community are more mature and sensitive to the feelings of individuals.

THIS! Why do people think their own gaming experience is the only one that matters? This is a really big problem. You don't want to have a homosexual romance? Don't flirt with Zevran as a dude then! Talk to Morrigan. She'll put out! Sheesh.

Also, if they have a problem with her from a writing standpoint, talk about THAT. Why the hell did they have to bring personal stuff into it? So immature. Only designed to hurt her.
