Fall Books!
Fall is upon us! This means that summer is over and that my summer book club has come to an end. With Fall comes the start of a new school year. Among the Feminist Theory and Pedagogy readings, I need to keep something FUN around to keep me sane. Of course the way my brain works, I'm going to have to work really hard to make school work come first. Like now - a stack of readings for Thursday sit on my lap and yet I'm posting a blog. It's going to be a long two years.
The Cincinnati Public Library is promoting/sponsoring an Adult reading club Sept 14-Oct 25 (or something like that) - I feel like I should be able to use my summer reading to enter the drawings and stuff. What do you guys think? The top prize is a gift card to Borders and other drawings are related to the library book sale I think. I don't know... but I could win stuff related to books, so I'm going to enter.
Here I will keep track of the books I read throughout Fall quarter - books, not articles. I'm setting my personal goal at 3,000 pages by December 12. Then I will have a winter break goal, then a winter quarter goal, etc.
Oh and there's a book fair thingy at the Duke Energy Center sometime in November... I believe it's a Saturday. I'm so there.

My Fall TBR list may have a few similar books to my Summer TBR pile, but I have so many new authors I'm going to be checking out. And so many sequels get released this quarter. I'm so excited. This is just the list of books I want to read in general... I'll be picking and choosing and weeding things out as the quarter goes, so don't think I'm insane and expecting to read ALL of these lol
