Mkay, so it definitely has been an interesting week, to say the very least. Maura Eleanor, who's my car in case people don't know my neurotic way of naming everything (my MP3 player is Eugene), broke down when I was leaving work yesterday. Just was chugging along and then all of a sudden died. KT was my hero and rescued me with her AAA card so that Billy-Bob Joe the tow-truck driver could come get Maura. So now I have to be picked up by the little girl I babysit and her dad and get to stay there all day today. Granted I did get to wake up a lot later this morning. I went on a little shopping spree the other day, 2 Jack Johnson CDs, which are awesome, The Life Aquatic on DVD, and 3 pairs of shoes. So I guess this week hasn't been all bad. I found an article in Glamour that wasn't raunchy or about how to naturally achieve the best cup-size that I found really interesting. It basically talks about how people always say tragedy comes into their lives and throws them off track, but that in reality tragedy is just part of the track we're on. Kind of a cool way to look at the things that go wrong in our lives. Things happen, but the main thing is that things happen to everybody. I don't know anyone who hasn't at one time or another been through a hard time, and in a way it's very comforting to konw that you aren't the only one who's going to go through hard times. I dunno if that makes sense, I'm probably just trying to make myself feel better b/c things aren't necessarily turning out the way that I thought that they would. Life is a car-ride at night without headlights.
