Mystery solved on the Maxx fan. It was indeed a bad computer board. That was replaced and she hums along very refreshingly and nicely quiet. Other little picky things:
Tail lights done. Light globes on inside.
Breaker box almost done. We've decided to put in a separate breaker for the AC so that's still on the short list.
Meanwhile Bea wonders where the heck her sister Ceanna has gone. Perhaps I anthropomorphize but she has been quite different since Ceanna left us. Or did Ceanna leave us? I'm not really superstitious but at agility class the other night it seemed that the dogs were doing unexpected things on the course that they wouldn't ordinarily do. Ceanna-like things. We had a good laugh and wondered if Ceanna had been in contact with them. But then I went out to the barn and a box of my supplies had been rifled through and the steel wool had been ripped open, chewed, tossed aside. That was so Ceanna-like. She did that to Brillo pads once in my kitchen. There were no other ready explanations so I started to wonder if she's still hanging out.
