i feel like i got a lot done today. i was woken up bright and early-- well, early anyway-- by delivery men who were there to take away our old washer and dryer and install the new washer and dryer that mom and i picked out tuesday night. shortly after they left, i started doing my laundry. hallelujah! i was in pretty dire straits when we realized that our dryer was completely broken. the washer was on its way out too and we got a good deal on a set, so yay. i'll tell you what, a new washer and dryer really makes you notice how much cleaner your clothes get. my clothes are cat hair free! right now! seriously, so much better. so laundry is now done. other than that, i've been doing little projects in my room. like ripping some cds onto my computer, making backup files of my pictures/movies/etc and putting my dvds away properly. i might give my bathroom a good cleaning as well. it's really the tub that i dread doing. that tub has a perpetually slow drain. i've had it snaked a number of times, but it just refuses to drain properly. so, needless to say, things get pretty soap scummy. i just don't like doing it. but i will anyway. and then i'll take a shower in my nice clean bathroom later tonight. whee. right now, i'm going to finish putting dvds away and try to catch a little bit of a buzz. i've been a good girl all week. i deserve it.

oh. and i wanted to poll my flist quickly: since audiocafe is no more, i've been thinking about starting a new comm along the same lines. the trouble here is that i don't know how to go about spreading the word without risking being shut down immediately. also, i'd want a co-mod or 2 to help me with enforcing the rules and moderating posts. anyone up for it? and would anyone be interested in joining said community? i've been really noticing the lack of new good music in my library and thought this might be a good way to get it back. give me your input, please!!
