good gravy, i LOVE halloween!
i just need to take a moment and profess my love for halloween. it is the ONLY thing about fall that i truly love! i mean, i like fall. i just HATE winter, and fall is it's harbinger. i hate being cold. but i do like autumn. the apple cider, the pumpkin EVERYTHING. pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pie! i think i might carve a pumpkin just so i can have toasted pumpkin seeds. if i do, i'm going to do a homestar runner pumpkin. maybe a trogdor pumpkin! hee! i'm going to take care of getting a halloween costume this weekend. i'm going to try to get up early on saturday and take care of all that shopping before work. here's hoping they have what i want in my size at the store. they don't online, but i have learned through years of being a torrid shopper that the online store doesn't always match what they have at the brick and mortar stores. cross your fingers for me. i want to be a pirate, dammit! and i found a new coat that i really like for under $100.
isn't it cute? it's that or yet another peacoat. which i'm actually fine with. just wanted to do something different this year. then again, there are a few peacoats at LB that i like, but they're just more than i wanted to spend. honestly, i don't want to spend ANY money, but the fact is i don't have a winter coat anymore. the two wool coats i had got retired this past spring due to rips and tears, so i've got to bite the bullet.
mmmmm my room smells so gooooooooood right now! i'm burning a pumpkin pie candle next to me and there's also a pumpkin spice air freshener in my housewarmer. it smells so good and pumpkin-y in here! it's making me want some delicious pumpkin treats!! well, nightmare is just about over. jack's just been shot down. i don't know what i want to watch next. i want to keep the halloween love going, but i've already watched "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and "Garfield's Halloween Adventure" this week. hmmmm.... i'm not in the mood for anything scary. more in a cartoon-y mood. well i'm off to solve this problem. night all.
