Wednesday was a most excellent day. I got up and chanted. Woot. Then, first thing in the morning, 3OH!3's "Don't Trust Me" came on 93.3 right as I got in the car to go pick up bagels for work, so I rocked out major hard core because that is my favorite car dancing song ever. Especially at 8:15 am. Then I got to stay an extra hour to fill in for someone. Then I had independent study and talked about Anna Karenina. Then sex class where we learned how our rape-prone society can be change and how dual and absolute consent from both (or all) parties makes sex better.
After class was Russian Food and Culture Day. Blini (crepes) were eaten, and my class was hilarious in our three short plays. I was the best mouse ever and got special mention. Then Charlie played the keys and I rapped "Gena the crocodile's birthday song" and was way more awesome than the two groups of lower-level Russian student who did the same song. Special mention for my hip movements also lol.
Instead of going out with my friends to get smashed like I usually do, I had a hot date. Like, super hot. I met Austin Green at Queer Formal last Saturday. He is Laurence Gendelman's roommate. They have an iguana named Atticus Gendelgreen. Anyways, Austin picked me up at 7:30 and we three ate the most delicious lasagna ever and asparagus with some lovely Beringer. Laurence's boyfriend showed up and they locked themselves away to do homework. Austin and I had more wine and talked and then he said, "well, there was actually one more thing I was planning for us to do tonight," and pulls out two glow-in-the-dark nerf guns. We had an epic battle in their small apartment, and I totally hit him way more times than he hit me.
After a while we took a break and he admitted that it was really all just a ploy to get us closer and in the dark together. Also, he was hoping he wouldn't have to steal another kiss, like the one he stole at Queer Formal. I told him now he'd have to work to steal them. We hung out on his red shag rug for another hour or so. He is super hot and the sweetest ever. And I'm still very giddy and I like him lots. The end.
