Ren and Stimpy
I've found a channel that shows Ren and Stimpy reruns every night, several times a night. I've been catching up on the episodes, since I don't think I've seen an episode of Ren and Stimpy since I was about 13. I'd forgotten how much I loved them. I had a copy of the soundtrack, and I'd religiously watch Nickelodeon on Saturday nights (and catch it when I'd wake up late and night and sneak out to the living room to watch it on MTV, back when MTV had good programming). I remember that whole block of programming on Nickelodeon: Clarissa Explains it All, Roundhouse, Ren and Stimpy, and Are You Afraid of the Dark. It was my favorite night of all. But Ren and Stimpy was always my favorite, hands down. Even my sister would watch it with me, and quote from the "Space Madness" episode during the times that we'd be friends (before she became the sister/mother everyone else knew).
And I find that I still remember all the words from the soundtrack, which has long since disappeared from my ever-shrinking CD collection. . .
