She'd have her minions do the hard work for her! She could even have minions governing minions.

If minions were to do the work for her, the minions would be quick to realize that Katie is expendable because she does nothing but living off their backs. This probelm could be somewhat corrected by putting untamed fear into her minions, but then again Katie does not strike me as the scary type. Even if she was, most people have no problem using any means necessary to remove the useless

So? All that changes is that now Katie is doubly useless, thus twice as suspect for assassination, and they have to pay the assassin(s) more to kill the both of you. Also, even though you're claiming to be her trusted right hand, Katie will probably now fear you. This isn't turning out all that well for Katie.

I don't think you understand that if Derrick rules the whole planet with an iron fist, a good half of the world will revolt. One of those countries will likely be Japan which, as we all know, is the epicenter of the Ninja. Just how long do you think a person could last in office with a bunch of ninjas trying to kill him?

As for Katie, it's very likely that Derrick wouldn't be able to overthrow her before everyone else does.
