Things have happened, but I'm okay. Someone (or something?) keeps taking stuff from my desk or my possessions at work: about a month ago, it was all of my keys; this past weekend, it was my teaching bag containing only notes, a planner, and three written-but-unstamped letters to my friends in Chicago; yesterday, it was a dinky (but lovingly drawn ( Read more... )

god that's almost as embarrasing as "top that."

the grudge is one of my favorite SCARRRIEEE movies. the first time i watched it, man, shit jumping out all over at you and creeping me the fuck out. someone told me to watch "reincarnation," because i liked the grudge. it's also japanese so it must be the same, right!?!

yeah no not very scary.

hey, i like you. i hope no one kills you or anything.

hey thanks! so I got at least one ~~~angel watchin over me~~~

I enjoyed 'The Grudge' a whole damn lot. so creepy! the only way I could calm myself down was by remembering that there was a guy at school whose laugh was exactly like the inhaling UHH-H-H-H-H-H-H-H ghost/evil noise. but it was still scary, even then. fuhhh-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-ck!

the first time i saw the grudge was right after i BORKED UP (god it's been that long?) with my GFFF, and so i was living alone. ALONE. and i was sleeping on a futon (A FUTON because she took the bed, which makes the whole thing seem way more sad and pathetic (and consequently funny?))... A FUTON in the living room, which peered down the hallway into the bedroom. there was practically no furniture, so it was just like, this big open room, peering down a dark hallway into a darker room. it was SO CREEPY laying there staring into all of that. i kept thinking of the, "i just want her to leave me alone," scene, where the woman is floating up by the ceiling. every time i closed my eyes i felt like there was a face inches from mine, just STARING at me, and if i opened my eyes it'd be all, "BOOO!! UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRHHHHH."

the fun thing about the grudge is that the ghosts seem to WANT to scare people. like, they intentionally do spooky shit for the sake of spookiness, whereas in other SKARRRY movies being scared is more of an accidental side- ( ... )
