So, Thomas did get a second job. About a week or two ago, he responded to something on Craig's List... a liquor store looking for help on Fri and Sat. afternoon/night. They called him back last week, and set up an interview for Friday. He left a little early to make sure he could find it... and actually, he ended up back home about 2 minutes after the interview time! He dressed really sharp for the interview, and apparently, walked in and the manager was like "I've looked over your resume some more" and he was hired. He came home, took the TABC online course, passed with 100%, and went in for a few hours that same night.
He really seems to like it. Doesn't seem like the job is too demanding... there's a lot of down time, which is good... esp. since his first job is so physical. Feels like a good atmosphere, and it's a nice place, with a good vodka selection [they have russkii standard!]. He said that he understands the way I feel about Curves now... When you actually like your job, and your employer.. it isn't just an ok or a good situation, but you genuinely enjoy being there and feel a personal loyalty to the owner/boss.... that goes beyond just "this job is good for me."
Soo.... with this second job, we should be ok financially now... *whew!
