I don't know if anybody is interested, but I do spend time writing about other things on a completely different blog and thought that some of you might like it. There are only 3 entries. This is because I only write in this particular journal when I get a brain bug.
Demigods and Mortals: A Closer Look at the Sci-fi/Fantasy Genre and the Accountability of the Actions of Heroes : This one comes from an ongoing discussion with my friends about Star Wars. In the years since I've hit adulthood, I've become increasingly more aware of its flaws. However, I still love it and think that it's an amazing saga. This is more in defense of Lucas' vision.
Your Facebook Politics Bug Me And I Don't Even Care What Your Actual Politics Are : I kept seeing two statuses and groups popping up and it finally annoyed me into writing something. Some of this is tongue-in-cheek and some is not. I just find myself utterly disappointed at the fact that people have die-hard slants politically, but cannot give specific reasons why. It's the people who say that they hate Barack Obama/Dubya/Place Your Guy Here, but can't seem to be able to name any political policies that they are for or against. I lost it two nights ago and wrote a rant. Maybe you'll enjoy my ranty goodness. EDIT: Yes, that is a picture of me with Barack Obama in 2006.
