SUITS GOT RENEWED.

A;sdlkgwersdvsdf yesssss.  I am so fucking pumpeddddd.

In other news, one of my favorite professors is leaving my school.  She taught two of my major gender studies classes and not only was she an excellent teacher, but she was an amazingly compassionate person and I spent a lot of time getting to know her.  She has written me some fantastic recommendations, and she sat and talked to me when I first found out my parents were separating, and again when I was having some depression problems.  I am going to miss her a ton, but hopefully we'll stay in touch.

I also found out that I do need to do the third drug test, which is a pain in the ass, but as long as it means I don't go to jail?  I'm cool.

My Body Gallery is a really interesting website that I found today.  You can put it in your height/weight/pant size/shirt size/etc. and it will bring up photos of other women that are the same measurements.  It's a lot easier to look objectively at other women, at least for me, so it's kind of nice to realize that the way I see myself?  Is not exactly realistic.  That being said, I'm all for body positivity and I think anyone at any size is A+.  That belief is just a lot harder to extend to myself.

And 50+ Homemade Popsicle Recipes is like the greatest thing ever.  Not only do I love popsicles but there are SO MANY AMAZING ONES.  Strawberry Vanilla.  Spiked Watermelon (YEAAAAAAH).  Honeydew Melon.  Fresh Peach.  A;sdgjweorisdf I might have to actually try and make some of them because unf unf unf.

I've been obsessed with my hair lately (I know) so 4 Easy Summer Updo's is helping me out hardcore.  I should mention that I don't do much with my hair aside from a) let it air-dry and leave it down, b) put it in a high ponytail, c) braid it to the side, and c) put it in a messy bun, but STILL.  I can dream.  I hope to one day master the fishtail braid, but I think it's going to have to wait until after my hair grows out more and is made of less messy layers.

My mom and I drove out from CT to IL yesterday (16 hours in the car, oh my god, never again) because she's moving in with her mom for a while, and then eventually finding a place of her own.  So right now I'm at my grandmother's.  I haven't seen her since I was 11 and it's actually really, really nice.  She's fucking sassy as hell and while that came across as mean to me when I was little, now I just LOVE HER and I can appreciate it so much more.  I think we're going to see The Help at some point before I leave, and see lent me The Book Thief, which is awesome because I've been wanting to read it for aaaaages.

Um um um.

I watched A Love Song for Bobby Long (yes, because of Gabriel Macht) the other day and not only was it excellent but it has an amazing soundtrack, which I found on a random Mediafire link here (so go download it...).

THESE BOOTS ARE ALL I'VE EVER WANTED IN LIFE.  It's not fair that I can't afford them.

And I got pulled over for the first time ever yesterday.  My mom and I had switched so I was driving and it had probably been about 4.5 hours at this point, and I'm going like 80 in a 70 mph zone, which is exactly how fast everyone else is going, and all of a sudden I look in the mirror and there's a cop with flashing lights and I literally screamed FUUUUCK and pulled over.  I thought I was going to shit my pants.

So he comes over to my mom's side because I'm pretty much right on the white line of the highway and my mom's like "OH!" and starts to pop open her door and I'm like "NO STOP CLOSE YOUR DOOR OH GOD" because I see him going for his gun (as expected) and apparently she had no idea you're not supposed to do that.  Uhhhhhhhh.  It's a good thing to know, I think.  So he was really nice and everything but basically he was like "I caught you going 82-84 in a 70 and I had to speed up to catch ya, but you shouldn't be going that fast" and in my head I'm like YOU FUCK EVERYONE ELSE IS GOING THAT FAST, but whatever, I'm already on thin ice with the law, so.

I got a $117 ticket but my mom offered to pay it, which is reaaaaally nice.

Needless to say, I stopped driving at that point.
