Married dating...
sounds weird, but its actullay very interesting.. through all the shit that is happening in our lives, we finally decided to take some time this weekend to do something that we had not done ina long time.. go on a date... it was a very unsual date i must say. it was not your typical dinner and a movie.
one thing that i like about him is that there are times when he understands my quirky ways. my idea of a perfect date on Friday was an evening at..... IKEA.. :) and he loved the idea.. we went to the store and walked around the entire store and sat on everything that you can... it was great.. considering that we will be moving back to where we were before, we are going to need some furniture and so this was a two-fold date. we found the couch that we wanted... silly me.. i did not know that the things that you get from there you have to put together yourself. here i was thinking that its going to be delivered in piece and that we had to take into consideration the size of the couch and door so that we dont have the same thing happen again... then as we were walking out, we see the couch hangin on a wall.. and there is a box underneath it.. he tells me that in the box was the couch.. i was floored... i said that there was no way,, but sure enough, we looked at the SKU and everything and it matched... so that changes everything.. now we can get the one that we wanted and build it into the house... when we leave it can be sold as a furnished unit.. you can get more money that way.
there are a lot of improvements that we want to make to the place beccause i told him that i dont want to move for at least 2-3 years... i want to stay put for a while..
so this will be the beginning of the next phase... i cant wait.
so after IKEA we did go to dinner at Ruby's.. we had not been there in ages.. i think before we were married... and we had a nice dinner... it felt good to be able to do that.. we laughed and joked about our day thus far... but i can tell that we are getting old.. around 10:15 we were getting tired... so we left.. by the time that we made it to the house, i was half way sleep... so no QT..LOL.. its all good though.. thats not what the prefect date was all about... i am glad that we had that time...we need it.. even though there are times when we dont like each other, its up to us to keep the spark there.
