I am so #$%!ing pissed off! Going to the dentist is less than ideal, much less spending over 2 grand on teeth repair. Thus, I expect the dentist to be competent, not create temporary caps on my teeth that almost cause a gum infection as well as throbbing pain. Only to have these caps fall out within days of the visit.
Then two weeks later I go in to get my permanent crowns and they are the wrong size!? Where did the error occur? The lab is blamed. Well that night both of the caps fall off while eating bread!! I call to reschedule my appointment this morning, to start the whole process over again, and the receptionist gives me attitude. I explain my lack of patience with the continuously falling caps, long waits at the office and length of time this work is taking. I WANT to question the competence of the dentist and staff, but I am afraid to say anything too upsetting before they finish my dental work.
Is there such a thing as a competent dentist? I have not had positive experiences from the last three dentists that I have been to.
