Subject is from one of my favorite AIR songs.

I have decided to actively seek new employment. I have been working out here in the sticks now for almost 4 months. I can't take it anymore. I fill my gas tank once or twice a week and at 3+ dollars per gallon that is really starting to cut into my funds.

So today I start the search for a new job in my field back in an urban area. I would love to find a job is on a bus line. Someplace that will pay for at least part of a bus pass as well as be someplace that has more than just a McDonald's and a gas station to choose from for lunch. A place where I can go out for a quick walk around the block and not be harassed by soccer moms and their orbiting satellites. Where I can get a light snack from a co-op or a coffee that didn't come out of a stale brew pot or from 2 miles down the road.

I know I should have realized where I was working when I took the job 4 months ago but I didn't look into the surrounding area because I was just so excited that I could get a job that I went to school for 8 years to qualify for.

On the bright side today I came across a job that is offering free transportation to and from work and a bit more pay on the base end. I think I can negotiate a better salary since they seemed pretty open with the salary range.
