I just ordered a scanner! WOO! It's an HP ScanJet G3110. It's an older model so it was cheap but it's got a REALLY high resolution so it'll work just fine for my purposes. I bought our Christmas tree today. It's a 6'+ Monterey Pine. Every Christmas of my life I've had a real Christmas tree so I just couldn't NOT have one this year. The farm I went to was kind of expensive but it was really the only one that was even close to my place that sold choose-and-cut trees. I think we're out of the woods! Yay! The fires are now moving northward into the hills rather than southward towards us and the city and are at 40% containment. Over 28,000 acres and 250 residences have burned.

Hey guys! I'm on my way to the airport now. I'll be in Portland until Tuesday morning and should be back around that afternoon. Seeya then! Will take lots of pictures.

My roommate and I are moving tomorrow. We're staying in the same complex but to a newly rennovated apartment and they're going to rennovate the one we're currently in.
