"Hooray" for a good day.

  Ecstatic!

Today was a surprisingly wonderful day!  I don't get to many of those anymore, so I feel an intense need to write about it.  And it wasn't like anything extraordinary happened either.  It was just a good day.

However, it didn't start out that way....

This morning Mom and Emily woke me up in their usual fashion, turning on my lights and saying what I've found to be the single most annoying phrase in the history of the English language:  "Wake up, Gwen, and pick up the dog poop."  I was especially irritated because I had already set an alarm to wake me up an hour and a half later.  That is to say that I could have gotten an hour and a half's worth of sleep and I'd still be able to shovel off shit at that time.  So I was cranky.  Really cranky.

Anyway, three hours and two cups of coffee later I had to head off to my new and third job at Matt's mom's place.  (From here on I will now refer to her as "Ruth" since that is her name and it's shorter than "Matt's mom," or "Mrs. Hagen.")  So I drove over there and got a little worried when I first arrived because the door was locked.  I thought I was early or that maybe something had come up and no one was there, because we were having phone problems.  But my feelings of anxiety soon subsided when Jerry opened the door and let me in.  I don't really care much for Jerry, but I've only just met him and he's only in the office for two weeks out of the month so I'll try to open up a little more.  And the work there is tedious but bearable.  I think that I can begin to like it there.  And the pay is awesome too.  (o^3^)o  Hee, hee~  So I ended up having a good first day on the job at Presslaff Interactive.

So good in fact that I decided to skip school.  (Heh.  And Matt, your parents and Ben think that I went to school and was late to tutoring because a class ran over....so it may be a good idea to keep this all under wraps.)  Only instead of staying home I went over to Maxline and helped Mr. Chu ship out a good number of packages.  It felt so good to haul those machines around and not have to ask Mr. Chu where stuff was or what gets shipped how.  Aahh~* (<--sigh of relief)  There's also a crap load of junk jewelry still lying around the place and it's getting in the way more than I remember it  being. (~.~)?  Maybe it's because of the way it's all set up now?  I'm not sure.  What I am sure of is that there were two God damned boxes that always seemed to get in my way today, so I put them in my car and figured I'd sell the crap on Craig's List or Ebay; especially since Mr. Chu doesn't want it there either.  So that ought to bring in a little extra revenue.  (^_^)

From Maxline I headed over to Ben's were I tutored him for about an hour and a half.  It was actually kind of relaxing, which was odd to me, but I rolled with it.  When I got home I found out that there had been a police chase down my street and that eleven cop cars and three motorcycles (cops of course) where lined/ packed on our street with the intent of catching a car full of punks who had stolen a TV from one of the houses a couple of streets up.  So I was treated to great story (that I'm skimping on, due to time) and so action!  Then around 9:30 I went for a walk and found this awesome tool that turns the water valve at the street on and off.  So now if the water company ever turns off our water I can just head on out and turn it back on.  Nyah!  Nyah!

And I've been dying to watch a good horror movie lately.  So much so actually that I've already re-watched all of mine a couple times.  Eh, I might go see The Ruins this weekend.  I hear that it's pretty good.  But right now I'm gonna go some sleep.

Night, all~!
