Clothes, cooking and blood.

Right so made a detour on the way home from work today to replace stolen clothing... one shirt brought for the second time round, along with two others as it was 3 for £50. Couldn't really say no ;0) Crafted have become my new clothing of choice, now have 3 versions of the same shirt (different patterns/colours) and one almost the same but long sleeved. But that's pretty much how my entire wardrobe works; soon as I find that rare and elusive piece that actually doesn't make my skin crawl to wear I tend to stock up, exact duplicate if necessary but much more preferable if they come in a bit of a range.

Then home to throw together another 'winging it' meal. Todays ingredients were a chilli pasta sauce, mince, green pepper, onion, couple of mushrooms and left over rice I cooked with dinner yesterday. Yep, no pasta in sight but the sauces are great- made for one person, low fat and taste gorgeous. Used it last week when I used it with spaghetti when I made dinner for Tidds and figured couldn't hurt trying it with the rice. Tasted great and I even have a little bit left over for lunch tomorrow... the joy of cooking for two and eating for one I guess! Tomorrow I'm taking a stab at pork with honey mustard sauce, oven baked wrapped in tin foil, this is my usual cooking method for chops but with stock cubes so we'll see how a marinade works instead. Saturday I'm attempting a huge rack of ribs with Chinese sauce. Must get a workable recipe off ravurian for his chicken though, add a version to my own repertoire.

Now sat down at computer to try a bit of editing. Alas not one of my Dollhouse vids yet as I still need to set aside time to do the rest of the capturing. I'm doing a little music vid for Bryony to use with the promotional material for her film. Though I haven't watched the footage yet and am a little concerned I might feel a tad queasy by the end of this project..... the videos I'm working with are the test footage for different fake bloods. Did I mention Bryony's film is a horror movie?? ;0)
