Ang sobrang ASTEEG! Ngayon ko lang nalaman yung ibig sabihin ng pangalan ko.

Bodge is British slang for a clumsy, messy, inelegant or inadequate solution to a problem.

Meaning

A bodge job generally means a job that was completed quickly and carelessly, possibly with one's mind on other things, or without using the correct tools, even if no mistakes were made.

Origins

The term "bodge" (and "botch", which means bungle or ruin) comes from the surname of Sir Thomas Bouch who designed the original Tay Rail Bridge. During the design phase he used a wind pressure of 10lbsf/sq ft. This proved to be insufficient and the bridge subsequently collapsed on the 28 December, 1879 with the loss of 75 lives.

Useage

It is said that the two main tools used by bodgers are:

* Duct Tape - for when something should be stuck, but isn't
* WD-40 - for when something is stuck, but shouldn't be

Bodging is a firm favourite among graphic artists and those willing to get a job done, but not always properly: "a poor job that just about works"

Bodge in some parts of Northern Ireland is slang for being "insane" or "off the rails".

The term "Bodge" was also used to describe the water in which a smithy would quench items heated in a forge.

Kaya naman pala! Dawurz...kelangan ko yata baguhin pangalan ko. Nakakasira ng image to.
