Also if the soreness continues you might want to tone it down and gradually work up to that level. Being able to complete something like that is a great feeling, but it can also put you out of commission a day or two to recover. If you gradually work up you can work on one set of muscles one day then another the next and it gives you a day to relax the other set so you can still work out everyday.

And yeah, I know :( The running was fine, I wasn't sore. It was the lifting (the squats and lunges) that got me -- and since I just started doing them, I think it's normal to expect muscle soreness?
Besides that, how the heck are you Miss Bradshaw!?

I have also found that taping photos in places -- not just on the fridge, but on boxes of Ritz crackers, for example -- definitely helps. Kind of cliche, but it helps. And not photos of gross uber-skinny models, but reasonable goals -- Anne Hathaway is pretty healthy looking mostly, Marishka Hargitay... healthy women who I'd like to look like. Makes you think twice. Or pictures of people working out, to remind you that, if you eat that, you're gonna hafta go running. Again, laziness rules.
I'm with ya on this, hon.
