[Why is the hallway video camera on? Don't ask silly questions. But because it's on, it gets to show a fairly calm hallway, considering half of it is broken up. Most of the wall around Aang's door is alright, intact, just crumbling near the top. The door is standing there, and for a while it's quiet.

[He sniffs, composes himself, and focuses the camera on his face again. He's stopped sobbing actively, but tears are still rolling down his cheeks. He looks resolute.]

[He seems to consider this for a moment, then nods.]

[He stops abruptly, looking off to the side.]

You- Ganta! [Now he's looking worriedly into the camera.]

Are you near an opening? I can come get you-

Yeah, I'm near--

[He's cut off as he gets body checked by someone much larger than him. He drops the device, which clatters to the floor, showing a skewed image of a tall man with one arm missing below the elbow and a gaping hole in his stomach. The ghoul starts to move forward but is driven back by a blood bullet ripping through his shoulder.]

O-okay, hold tight, I'll be right there!

[And he clips the comm back on and takes off!]

[Fortunately, Ganta's relatively close to a rather large hole in the outer wall of the mansion on the fifth floor. He's mostly trying to evade the ghoul he's run into rather than fighting it--since, you know, he only has so much blood in him.

Of course, it might also be that he knows this guy. Despite the fact that he knows it isn't really the person it looks like, he still seems hesitant to hurt it.]

[ Now that he's saved Lamb, Aang's swooping in, dropping Lamb as easily as he can before throwing an air blast down the hallway, hoping to send the ghouls back. Panting:]

[ Don't mind Lamb, she's just going to wobble to the side a bit, putting her remaining shoe back on and trying to figure out where she landed and who those people are, because of course her glasses didn't make the trip either. ]

[Ganta nods, hurrying over to join them. He's shaken, but doing a good job not showing it. Much.]

We need to get out of here. Ivanova-san says there are more of them on the first floor, so maybe if we go upwards instead there will be fewer.
